Botbrainery is the artistic practice of Zurich-based artist Philipp Fenner.

His work explores the body as a site of control, resistance, absence and transformation.

Through monumental figures, suspended bodies and the recurring gesture of the conductor, Fenner turns personal experience into psychological and physical tension.

The works exist between stillness and movement, power and vulnerability, presence and disappearance.
Most images are consumed.
These works are experienced.
They are not created to please.

The works are not created to please.
They are created to confront — and to remain.

Where pixels bleed into skin.

Where chaos wears a crown.

Fenner’s work follows one intention:

To create images that leave a mark —
not only on the wall, but on the person standing in front of it.
